About the Author: Jean Feldman has been an early childhood educator for 30 years. She is a member of the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and presents her teaching ideas and songs to teachers at conferences nationwide. Dr. Feldman is the author of many books for teachers, including the best-selling Teaching Tunes series (Scholastic, 2001) and A Survival Guide for the Preschool Teacher (Center for Applied Research in Education, 1991). She earned a B.A. from the University of Georgia, a Diploma for Advanced Study in Teaching from Emory University, and a Ph.D. from Georgia State University.
